What the Job Involves
The Electrical Inspector role focuses on a wide range of tasks concerning the safety and compliance of electrical installations across approximately 2,500 residential block buildings, including over 200 high-rise structures. Your primary responsibilities include conducting thorough surveys and inspections, producing detailed condition and feasibility reports, highlighting various electrical service issues, and coordinating with project managers and engineers. You will manage snagging lists, ensure adherence to quality standards, and engage in the handover process. This role also encompasses customer care and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
Skills
- City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent certification
- IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
- Proficient in written & verbal communication
- Proficient in MS Office Packages (Word/Outlook/Excel)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Sound knowledge of Electrical Installations
- Experience in technical report writing
