Essex County Council are delighted to be supporting West Northamptonshire Council to recruit a Senior Lawyer for Property and Regeneration. About the role We are growing our Property Team with the addition of a Senior Property/Regeneration Lawyer within the Place Legal team. This role is ideal for someone with a significant level of technical knowledge and experience in Commercial Property Law and Regeneration Projects. If you are motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn and develop further in this area of law, we want to hear from you. You will work with a large and diverse commercial property portfolio, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold premises, landlord and tenant matters, and development projects linked to the Council’s dynamic regeneration programme. Recent initiatives include the Market Square Regeneration, major land acquisition transactions, and the Waterside and Marefair redevelopment project. You will also have opportunities to mentor and support other team members. The Council is actively pursuing regeneration projects, creating exciting and challenging work for the legal team.
