Come and support your local community by joining Essex County Councils' School Crossing Patrol Team as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer. We are looking for a punctual and reliable individual, who is approachable and enjoys engaging with the public. Each position is for 5 hours per week retainer paid, plus duty hours worked; with a holiday pay element included. You will need to be available to work during the 39 weeks of the academic year. Mileage and travel time is paid for this role in accordance to ECC’s Travel and Subsistence policy. Responsibilities: Access to your own vehicle and business insurance is a must, as you will be required to travel to and from crossing sites, as required. be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need
to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility
