Parks & Countryside Officer – Maldon District Council Full-Time, Temporary 36-37 Hours per Week £13.45 PAYE / £17.25 Umbrella Closing Date: Thursday 22nd October 2026 Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Maldon District Council in recruiting a Parks & Countryside Officer on a full-time, temporary basis. As a Parks & Countryside Officer, you will join a dedicated team in maintaining and improving public spaces and scenery throughout Maldon Promenade Park. Duties include but are not limited to; Emptying Bins Litter Picking Sweeping of Pathways Grass Cutting Hand-weeding of Shrub Beds Hedge Trimming Experience You Will Bring: Grounds Maintenance Street Cleansing Weed Spraying Driving vehicles such as ride-along mower Comfortable with lone working Full UK Licence – up to 3.5t Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday, 07:00-17:00 Friday: 07:00-15:30 If you have any questions regarding this role, please contact Ashleigh.Drake@essex.gov.uk
