Please note there is an expectation for you to attend the office based in Chelmsford, 2 days per week. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must have a current, unrestricted right to work in the UK. Who are we? The Essex Pension Fund is one of 86 pension funds which make up the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The LGPS is the largest defined benefit pension scheme in England and Wales with a fund value of over £340billion. On its own, our Fund looks after 182,000 Scheme Members, over 800 Employers and is valued at approx. £13billion, placing us within the top 10 LGPS funds in the country. We’d also like you to have experience of building strong working relationships and have a good understanding of the principles of administering an occupational Pension Scheme, preferably the LGPS.
