Essex County Council are delighted to be working in partnership with Uttlesford District Council to recruit for the role of LGR Business Analyst. We are seeking to fill this position through a secondment opportunity in the first instance. Applications are welcomed from employees of local authorities seeking development opportunities. West Essex is embarking on an ambitious journey to establish a new Unitary Authority, creating a modern, resilient and community-focused council that will serve residents for generations to come. As part of the Programme Management Office (PMO), you will be at the heart of this historic change, helping to shape the future of local government across West Essex. These are exciting secondment opportunities for motivated and talented professionals who want to make a visible impact, work at pace and gain experience in a complex, high-profile transformation programme. The role Are you a self motivated experienced Business Analyst ready to support this significant transformation programmes? This 2-year secondment will play a key role in helping services prepare for change by mapping processes, analysing systems and data, capturing requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement. Working across services and corporate functions in West Essex, you will collaborate with all stakeholders, to understand current ways of working and help shape future digital and service solutions. You will support evidence-led decision making through clear analysis, options appraisal, impact assessment and practical recommendations. What you'll be doing What we're looking for Why join us?
