Maldon District Council is working in partnership with Essex Shared Services to support the role of Technical Support Officer (Building Control), a full time position offering hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. The role is within the Council’s award winning Housing Service, which is part of the Place, Planning & Growth directorate. Role Purpose: As a Technical Support Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for Building Control enquiries. You'll process Building Regulation applications, maintain accurate records, support Building Control Surveyors, liaise with customers, and ensure applications are managed efficiently and in accordance with legislation.
