This is a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. About the Role The Data and Insight Analyst will provide timely intelligence, enabling Adult Social Care to maximise opportunities as well as ensuring an early warning system for areas of underperformance and non-delivery relating to specific outcomes. The role will provide the intelligence and insight required to inform strategic decision-making across Adult Social Care. It will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting a wide range of data and evidence sources, including provider performance, market developments, demographic and population changes, workforce feedback, customer and service user experiences, and emerging sector trends. The role will also lead the development of an evidence-based approach to measuring service delivery, ensuring that decisions are underpinned by robust analysis, meaningful performance indicators, and a comprehensive understanding of current and future demand. The role will ensure that service decisions are based on clear evidence and analysis of need, demand and best value and that performance of services and place shaping activities can be evaluated in the delivery of our outcomes. Adult Social Care in Essex takes data and performance seriously - we have a strong infrastructure in place, and the Performance Insight Team is held in high regard from the Adult Leadership Team through to Team Managers.
