What the Job Involves

As a Part-Time Cleaner in the Children and Families Department, you will be responsible for providing a top-notch cleaning service in designated establishments. Your main duties will include:

• Cleaning common rooms, including classrooms and dining/kitchen areas.
• Ensuring toilets and changing rooms are maintained to a high standard.
• Handling the laundry of towels.
• Maintaining high hygiene standards, particularly floor surfaces as guided by the Authority.
• Keeping the exterior hard-surface areas clean and tidy, which includes emptying bins.
• Reporting maintenance issues.

You are also accountable for personal health and safety, ensuring adherence to provided documentation and working efficiently with high levels of customer care.
