What the Job Involves
As a Senior Lawyer, you will manage and coordinate staff work, provide guidance, and hold a personal caseload of complex contract advice and preparation work. You will deal with preparing and advising on complex contracts and legal documents, and act as a legal advisor in committees. The role requires introducing new procedures, staying updated on legislation, and training colleagues. You will assist with service level agreements, promote legal services, and cooperate with external reviews of the Council's performance.
