Who You Are
You are passionate about supporting young people, especially those with complex needs or at risk of anti-social or offending behaviour. You hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in health and social care within a children's home setting or an equivalent qualification. Your experience demonstrates a commitment to working closely with children, families, schools, and other professionals. You have excellent communication skills and can present complex information understandably.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing guidance and support to children, families, and various professionals. You will engage with young people presenting complex challenges and contribute to reducing barriers to engagement. Responsibilities include implementing safeguarding procedures, conducting risk assessments, developing and delivering group work interventions, and evaluating the success of these programs. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and applying diversity and equal opportunities policies in the workplace.
