What the Job Involves
This role involves maintaining public open spaces, verges, schools, and contracted sites to ensure a high-quality and sustainable green environment. You will engage with external clients like Monmouthshire Housing Association and others, serving as the main point of contact. Activities include grass cutting, grave digging, maintaining sports facilities, landscaping, arboricultural work, litter picking, and responding to fly-tipping requests. You'll be engaged in grounds maintenance and may assist the street services team for local environmental quality maintenance. Seasonal working hours apply, and you are expected to handle emergency situations as needed.
