Job Description: Victims and Restorative Justice Worker

Who You Are

You are an experienced professional with a background in working with victims and/or delivering restorative practices within youth justice, community safety, social care, policing, or a related setting. You understand the importance of trauma-informed practice and are committed to delivering a high-quality, responsive, and individualised service for victims. You possess strong communication skills and are confident in facilitating conversations and conferences that contribute to restorative justice outcomes.

What the Job Involves

As a Victims and Restorative Justice Worker within Enfield's Youth Justice Service, your role is to deliver a high-quality service aligned with the HMIP Victims’ Standard. You will ensure victims receive clear, timely, and accurate information about restorative processes, providing tailored support for an empowering experience. Responsibilities include conducting victim assessments, supporting the development and delivery of justice interventions, and facilitating restorative justice conferences. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, support the inclusion and participation of victims, and function within a Child First approach to strengthen victim services.

Skills

  • Experience with victims/restorative practice in justice or social settings
