We are seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Repairs Supervisor with a proven track record in overseeing remediation works across social housing portfolios. You thrive in managing operatives and subcontractors, ensuring high standards in service delivery, resident safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
What the job involves
Your role involves supervising and coordinating the inspection, diagnosis, and remediation of damp and mould issues. You will manage teams of operatives and subcontractors across multiple sites, conduct pre- and post-inspections, identify root causes, and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. Additionally, you will monitor performance against KPIs, collaborate with planners, surveyors, and housing officers, maintain detailed documentation, and address resident queries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in damp and mould works supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of building defects
- Experience managing multi-trade teams
- Good understanding of health & safety compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant construction or property maintenance qualifications (desirable)
- Experience with scheduling/job management systems (desirable)
- Knowledge of housing regulations (desirable)
