Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Substance Misuse Commissioner to support the leadership of our Substance Misuse Commissioning Team. You will be responsible for immediate system management and improvement, service redesign, re-modelling, and preparations for procurement. You will have substantial, senior experience in substance misuse commissioning, complex system design, project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
What the job involves
Your role involves working closely with existing staff to play a senior leadership role, with responsibility for immediate-term service leadership, management, and system improvement or for designing and delivering a new model for procurement. You’ll be tasked with engaging stakeholders rapidly, defining requirements, and leading the work to finalise service models and develop service specifications and tender documents. This is a fixed-term appointment, likely for 3 months initially.
