What the Job Involves

This role involves delivering direct social work services to adults and their families in need of care and support, in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation. Duties include working with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating care plans, conducting safeguarding investigations, and maintaining up-to-date records. The position requires regular engagement with safeguarding processes, preparing reports, participating in team development, and potentially leading meetings. You will also support the personal development of junior colleagues and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.

Skills

  • Qualification in Social Work (Degree or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Care Council for Wales
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary settings
  • Strong understanding of social work legislation
