With a focus on ensuring effective placement matching and sufficiency for children and young people in care, you are committed to promoting stability, safety, and positive outcomes. As a key point of contact for foster carers, you build positive relationships and foster ongoing engagement.
What the job involves
Your role is central to strengthening support systems for foster carers. You will coordinate initiatives, identify suitable placements, and act as a liaison to promote positive working relationships. Organizing foster carer activities and support groups, conducting surveys, and analyzing feedback for service improvement are part of your responsibilities. You will maintain systems for monitoring foster carer availability and engagement, support the development of peer networks, and work with colleagues to provide necessary support and improve long-term retention and satisfaction.
