Environmental Officer: Parks & Open Spaces – Castle Point Borough Council Castle Point, Essex 2-Month Contact Part-Time, Temporary. 2 days per week. £15.86 PAYE / £20.34 Umbrella per hour Closing Date: Monday 20th April 2026 Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Castle Point Borough Council to recruit an Environmental Officer on a part-time, temporary basis. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only. Why Castle Point? Our values: Trust, Respect, Improving and Learning, and Customer Focus The Opportunity Required for two days per week, the Environmental Officer will need to be able to undertake routine inspections such as Safety Culture inspections and to ensure the provision of high-quality Council-owned land and facilities which are safe to use.
