Castle Point Borough Council is seeking to appoint an Estates & Asset Manager on an initial 3–6-month basis to support the Assistant Director of Estates. Please note this role will be based in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week (preferably 4 or 5 days). The Estates Management Service in respect of the Council’s owned premises (non-housing stock) and of ensuring statutory compliance, in accordance with assistance from the in-house H&S Advisory Team. The management, training, retention and development of the Estates and Asset Team. Role purpose: To ensure that the authority has an effective Estates Management function in respect of Council owned premises, either directly occupied by the Council, vacant or leased to third parties, and to provide effective contract and relationship management in respect of contractors and suppliers engaged in services relating to the operation of council’s assets.
