What the Job Involves
The role involves conducting assessments for families referred from MASH and other assessment teams, developing and implementing Child in Need and Child Protection plans, collaborating with multi-agency teams, and intervening in crisis situations to ensure child safety. Additionally, you will contribute to child protection conferences, court proceedings, and liaise with partner agencies. Your responsibilities also include maintaining accurate case records, providing reports for legal proceedings, and advocating for children's rights. You will be based in Sutton in Ashfield, covering the Ashfield District of Nottinghamshire, spending a minimum of three days a week in the office to support team morale and development.
