This is an exciting opportunity to join Uttlesford District Council at a pivotal time. As Business Analyst, you will provide business and systems analysis expertise to support the Council’s transformation and improvement programmes, and readiness for Local Government Reorganisation.

You will work across services and corporate functions to capture, analyse and redesign processes, elicit information and data to support evidence-led decision making, and define and translate requirements. You will also identify opportunities for better use of technology, ensuring digital solutions are well-integrated, user-focused and fit for purpose.

About You

• We’re looking for an experienced business analysis professional with:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in capturing business requirements and developing documentation
• Expert knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques
• Knowledge of project and programme management approaches
• Strong communication and facilitation skills

Relevant qualifications such as a Business Analysis certification or equivalent are desirable, and we welcome candidates who are working towards these or willing to obtain them.
