£42,761 to £50,307 per annum
Location: Chelmsford

Please note this vacancy is available as a fixed term contract opportunity
for 21 months
This is not a term time only role. The role is for 52.14 working weeks per
year including 27 days (Full Time Equivalent) Holiday Entitlement which will
be calculated to include continuous service if applicable.
The Role
Essex County Council, via its Early Years and Childcare strategy, has
committed to ensuring the early years system is effectively focused on
improving outcomes for those children most in need of support. Ensuring the
workforce has the skills and understanding needed to effectively support
these children and maximising opportunities for early intervention
Working across Essex, the Early Years Early Intervention Partner role will
contribute to the delivery of this strategy working in partnership with the
early years sector. Ensuring effective inclusive early education, which is
responsive to individual need. The role will have a specific focus on
improving outcomes for children who may be experiencing delay in their
development, which may have been caused by a lack of access to age related
experiences and / or opportunities
Facilitating effective partnership across the Early Years System across the
County between all relevant ECC Education teams and key external partners to
achieve this

operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving
licence and access to a vehicle,
or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other
