Full Time – 37 hours

Grade 7 – SCP Range 27-31

£38,220 - £41,771

Castle Point Borough Council is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Neighbourhood Management Officer, to deliver a resident focussed, data led, performance driven service. You will contribute to ensuring the delivery of a customer focused, effective and value for money service, reflecting the highest standards of service excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Managing a patch of tenancies, leases and licences, including sheltered housing
• Conducting tenancy audits and neighbourhood inspections
• Supporting vulnerable residents and linking them to vital services
• Tackling anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns
• Leading on tenancy changes, complaints and legal proceedings
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality housing services

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Experienced in housing or customer service
• Skilled in communication, problem solving and partnership working
• Has knowledge about housing legislation, welfare benefits and safeguarding
• Has IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office
• Committed to equality, diversity and excellent customer care
• Has experience in sheltered housing or similar environments
• Has a flexible attitude to being called upon to work in an emergency or unusual circumstances
• Holds a valid driving licence and has access to transport with business insurance
