The Role Essex Legal Services (ELS) is a specialist public sector legal service that combines exceptional commercial experience with a mature understanding of the sector. Its team of over 100 legal professionals support clients by adding capacity and specialist knowledge to their team when they need it. As part of the ELS Practice Management Team, you will report to the Practice Manager and work closely with ELS colleagues to ensure the delivery of a high performing, client facing legal service, which proactively embraces change. As a Visualfiles Developer you will ensure the provision of high quality advice, information, analysis and interpretation to staff and clients to underpin effective decision making and case management. Reporting meaningful data which enables effective case management and meets statutory and compliance requirements. Achieving good client satisfaction levels and making a real and demonstrable difference to the delivery of Essex Legal Services’ business and the business of our clients. To read more about our business area, please visit: Corporate Services and Transformation Accountabilities Provide specific technical expertise and skills to deliver services to Essex Legal Services and Partners, taking up complex issues raised from system users and working on projects to provide assistance and solutions to clients. Provide analysis, design, implementation and support, documenting activity for a range of solutions appropriate to the business needs of Essex Legal Services and Partners. Understand the complex, interdependent and wide-ranging business requirements of client/partners, to provide them with a service they value. Analyse business process requirements, developing solutions to support Essex Legal Services goals and vision, driving the delivery of productivity and efficiency improvement. Use specialist technical knowledge to advise, adapt and introduce new processes and procedures which support case management and are compliant with SRA and other statutory requirements. Communicate functionality of business solutions to all levels of user including senior managers by way of group and individual training sessions Create comprehensive training manuals to support business solutions that are clear, concise and easily understood by users Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop current and future business development opportunities; Update and develop the website including understanding and reporting on website data analytics and how these can be used effectively.
