Physical Activity Coordinator - 22.5 hours Location: Across all of Castle Point Estate's Salary: Grade 4: £26,873 - £28,282 per annum Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week Contract Type: 24 month Fixed term contract Number of Positions: 1 DBS Check: Enhanced Closing Date: 05/10/2025 Salary - Grade 4: £26,873 - £28,282 per annum Pro-Rata About the Role Castle Point Borough Council, in partnership with Active Essex and the Sport England Place Based Partnership (SEPP), is seeking a passionate and dynamic Physical Activity Coordinator to support efforts in tackling physical inactivity across the borough, with a particular focus on neighbourhoods in Canvey Island. This is a key role in developing and delivering the strategic plan to improve physical activity levels in lower socio-economic areas. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of partners, including health professionals, schools, community organisations, and local residents, to create sustainable change.
