Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Maldon District Council to recruit a temporary Environmental Health Manager (Protection) for an initial 3-month temporary contract. Please note that this role provides remote and flexible working as well as working within the Council Offices, subject to business need. Why Maldon? The Opportunity: Maldon District Council is seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Manager (Protection) to work within our busy, multi-skilled service for an initial 3-month period. The post holder will be expected to provide clear direction and effective leadership, setting service priorities, monitoring work allocation and improving overall performance. They must provide technical advice and decision making in all aspects of the role, including taking formal action where applicable. Key Responsibilities: The Experience you will bring: We are looking for someone who is ideally registered with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health with significant experience in Environmental Health and 2+ years line management.
