ECC are delighted to be advertising the role of Swim Instructor on behalf of Castle Point Borough Council.

We are seeking qualified, experienced Adult & Child Swimming Instructors to coach pupils from 4 months to 4 years all aspects of swimming. 

Current Swim England or STA Level 2 and an Adult & Child Certificate is essential together with a current Swimming Teachers Rescue Qualification or current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and preferably some experience in a teaching capacity.

You will be required to attend staff training and meetings as required and to maintain and update your coaching qualifications whilst working a varying amount of hours per week to suit the needs of the business. 

The role will also involve liaison with the Swim Academy Lead and discussion with other members of the team to ensure close monitoring and planning of operational requirements, policy matters and training.

The successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance.
