The Opportunity:

Braintree District Council have an exciting opportunity for an Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) Triage and Enforcement Coordinator to join our successful Enforcement Team based in Braintree, Essex.

The post holder will enhance the Street Scene in Braintree District by carrying out initial triage of all antisocial behaviour investigations, completing victim risk assessments and providing a victim centred approach, signposting to relevant support agencies and services. The role will also provide administration support to the Street Scene Protection Team and by doing so, contribute to improving the wellbeing and quality of life for all residents and visitors in the District.

The successful candidate will be required to support victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour, providing vital links with internal departments, external partners and support agencies. The post holder will conduct partnership work with partner agencies, including the police and local housing providers.

Experience:

The successful applicant will be self motivated, conscientious and enthusiastic. They will have experience of victim support and a basic understanding of antisocial behaviour and the relevant legislation. They can work well independently and as part of a team and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should have a commitment to promoting community safety and wellbeing, excellent customer service skills, a flexible approach and be keen to learn new skills.
