Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Basildon Borough
Council to recruit a Head of Policy, Public Affairs & Leader Officer.

We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Head of Policy,
Public Affairs & Leader Office a pivotal leadership role at the heart
of our organisation.
About the Role
As Head of Policy, Public Affairs & Leader Office, you will be the
strategic bridge between the Council and its key stakeholders government,
parliamentarians, partners, and the wider public. You will lead on shaping
and promoting our policy agenda particularly in the context of local
government reorganisation (LGR), raising the Council profile, and ensuring
our voice is heard where it matters most.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to influence real change and
deliver meaningful outcomes for our residents.
